Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided to all children in my care. As a qualified chef, I will ensure a balanced and nutritious diet every day. A typical weekly menu contains the following: Breakfast between 7:30 – 8:15 Selection of cereals Milk, fruit juices or fruit tea Wholemeal toast with sweet or savoury toppings Yoghurts Fresh fruit Snacks between 10:00 – 10:30 and 3:30pm – 4:00pm Toast, rice cakes or savoury biscuits with a choice of toppings Vegetable sticks with dips Avocado pears Yoghurts Fresh fruit Glass of milk or fruit juice  Lunch between 12:30 – 1:00pm Sandwiches with savoury fillings such as tuna or salmon, ham, cheese, egg or salad Jacket potatoes with savoury fillings and side salad Homemade soups with wholemeal bread Pasta with various sauces such as tomato, pesto, vegetable or beef bolognaise Homemade fish cakes with mashed potatoes or rice and mixes vegetables.
Water will be available to all children throughout the day. Formula milk and solids for babies are to be provided by the parents. I aim to cater for children with food allergies and will be working on this in partnership with the parents.
