I will endeavour to protect children from illness and cross contamination to the best of my ability and I will therefore not mind sick children unless the illness is minor and not highly contagious or dangerous to other children and adults.

Should a child in my care fall ill, parents will be contacted immediately.  Emergency contact numbers must be provided and will be verified with all parents on a regular basis.

Medicines, such as Calpol, teething gel as well as prescribed medicines will be administered according to parent’s / doctor’s instructions provided permission to do so has been received from the parents.
